Right now, this is what I need to think. After being bogged down for a month, and pushing aside my work outs so I could focus on work, I realized I have less than 2 months before my half marathon.
I’m terrified. My running isn’t as quick as before, I can’t run non stop for the same distance. I’m hoping by the time the race is around I’ll be okay. That I won’t be picked up by the goofy mobile and driven to the finish line because I can’t even walk a 16 minute mile.
Although I have been scheduled at work for more days, and longer shifts [I’m a waitress], I’m hoping to put all my efforts into training. There’s no more time to waste!
I fell off the healthy boat once midterms and finals hit, and I am truly sorry for that, but starting Saturday I am back. I’ve been working hard, but not working out hard. I’m sure I have gained weight, but I will not let that hinder me as I begin my last 2 month push before my first half marathon.
I hope you will all join me as I restart my journey!

I train wherever I can now - since everything has been piling up on me. I’ll be at work doing calf raises as I clean the windows, or as I wait for food to come out of the kitchen.

Everything has been so hectic, I promise I will be more present after this Wednesday! PROMISEPROMISEPROMISE
Sorry about being MIA, I’ve barely have had time to eat or breathe. :/ The only time I eat is when we are sampling the menu at my new job training, then I rush to school to attend classes, then afterwards I go home and do as much hmwk as possible until I sleep. Which, thanks to midterms, isn’t until 1am. Then I’m up again at 6am to get to work by 7am. This will continue for the rest of the week, so hopefully after next Wednesday I will be able to blog normally and exercise regularly.
No weekly weigh in this week since I’m bloated, and I know the scale won’t be accurate. However, here are the mileage for the contestants!

WOOHOO! Just got hired at this amazing Vegan restaurant! I just went there for one of their cinco de mayo dishes…tamale pie - omgaaaah AMAZING

AND I just bought myself a pair of roller skates! Who said a work out can’t be fun! haha I am going to roller skate everywhere once I get better at it! It’s the same pair that the girl is wearing in an earlier post I made.
